“ My partner and I came here for dinner today and we had a lovely time. We were able to get a table no problem and the service was great. I ordered a vegetarian pizza which was yummy and my partner ordered a Spanish pizza. Both pizzas were delicious as was the casear salad. No complaints and we will be back for sure. I recommend this wonderful establishment, thank you. ”
“ i try to come here anytime i'm in Vancouver, best pizza I've had here. Wings are good too, salad was refreshing. And the place is very pretty and friendly. ”
“ I was walking by and saw the window open and assumed they were open, but no. However, they happily opened for me as they were pretty much ready. Got take out pizza, custom order. A bit pricy so my fingers were crossed. Before I got to the end of the block a guy asked me if I liked their pizza, and when informed it was my first try, he said I'd *love* it. He was correct. Something in the spices in the sauce or beef was superb. Very much worth the money. Only a 4 on atmosphere because the place was SO hot. I guess that's why the window was open. But you can see the oven, the decor was charming, and it was nice to see the chef spinning my pizza dough. Might eat in on some cold winter night, though. Looking forward to trying the pasta some day. ”
“ Getting a 25 or 33 bus from the UBC campus where I work, I alight either bus and walk down Cambie Street. The 33 bus being closest, makes this place easy to get to. I have often walked by and looked through its front windows. Has a nice ambiance with decor in line with its name. Warm dark red and orange colors and a brick wall. Lovely paintings by the tables and thoughtful lighting. Nice music completes this friendly cafe. The pizzas are handmade on ordering and baked in the firewood burning oven. The herbs are a delight . My first visit today sees me enjoying a delicious 10" Spanish gourmet pizza... ground beef, roasted onions, spinach and Roma tomatoes. Housemade tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese are on all pizzas. 10 inch pizza is small on menu, but ample for me. (They also do 12" and 14" pizzas. .) Staff are friendly and efficient. I feel I've eaten somewhere quite special.. I have not eaten a pizza with such a beautiful and unique taste. Cost under 20. I will return to sample another of more than twenty-six types of pizza, as you can have your own combination of toppings. Or perhaps try their fresh pasta? Hope you enjoy visiting this unique place. ”
“ We ordered California pizza and spicy chicken pasta. Pizza is cheesy and crust was crispy. Pasta was filled with flavours of tomato, chicken and mushroom. Loved both and we will definitely return. Customer service is great and outstanding. Have seating capacity for about 16, 4 tables with 4 chairs each. ”
“ I recently had dinner at firewood cafe and had a delightful experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and the service was quick and friendly. I tried the Chicken California ,which was exceptionally tasty and well-prepared. The special sauce, unique ingredient really set it apart ”
“ Amazing again, every time we come to Vancouver we have to get your pizza. Excellent amount of toppings and you make a perfect crust, nice and thin with that little bit of chew and nothing beats a wood fired oven. We have eaten a lot of pizza in Italy and I honestly prefer your pizza. Thanks again for another enjoyable dinner ”
“ One of the best pizza I’ve tried in Vancouver so far !!! I got a Grilled Chicken pizza in a large size. The taste is incredible. The price was 29 plus tax. Not too expensive though in my opinion for this size and this taste. Well done ! ”
